Stick a pin in it!

Me        “it’s warm in here’ Him      “The heatings not on” That about sums it up for me.   This week brings a huge variety in my life (most weeks do) and its what I yearn for but I need normal temperatures and regulation in among the flexibility – confused?   Yeah me too. Last week I rejoined boogie bounce with a resounding cry of that’s me back for good only to realise that tonight I had to drop off a full wedding package, pick my stepdaughter up in tillicoultry (nowhere near me) and edit christening, 60 th photos plus complete a wedding video. So when I say its hot I expect it to be hot, not for my internal body clock to be playing havoc again. I’m also on the road with real work to Peebles and then full week in Falkirk next week meaning I’m eating crap again. Would I really change it?   The energy levels yes, the overheating yes, the overeating definitely so I’m sticking a pin in it on Friday t...

It’s one big love affair

This morning it soothed my journey back from the Sahara desert, it wasn’t dust articles I was having to worry about, it was the heat, while everyone else is still wondering how Ophelia brought residue over from the other side of the world, I’m wondering why she brought me and only me my own e...

Rosie’s reached the menopause

Oh what a milestone, what a journey and what an awakening to realise that it’s not a recent development either, one whip of the knife and that was it but its only now, nearly eight years later that I’m really realising the effects. What are the effects?  Well ladies Woolies might have closed their doors but they left behind the pick and mix ideaology.  Every day is a cheery wee delight and yet none of them seem to have an adorable soft delicious centre.   Oh I try the law of attraction, I indulge in inspirational quotes, I practice the art of gratefulness but my inner voice is screaming for sugar, shoes, instant weight loss and the next fad to stroll off the conveyor belt on to the high street all stirred with a side (ahem magnum) of Prosecco of course.  I’ve clocked more gym memberships than my old BMW’s mileage and devoured the marketing materials of every diet known to man while eating chocolate eclairs and denying the inches are being added ...
